On examination, the patient exhibited intermittent biphasic stridor, as well as some stertor
and mild neck retractions.
The most common clinical signs associated to intranasal neoplasms are nasal hemorrhagic discharge, facial deformity, ocular discharge, sneezing, stertor
, dyspnea, exophthalmos, and rarely neurologic signs (6, 7, 12).
This can result in stertor
, stridor, or both, making the source of the breathing disorder difficult to localize.
The signs of dyspnoea and stertor
resolved and wound healed without complications.
In addition, respiratory effort was increased, with inspiratory stertor
and fluid bubbles observed on the nares.
