BEIRUT: Military Prosecutor Judge Saqr Saqr pressed charges
Wednesday against a policeman and six inmates, including five members of Fatah al-Islam, for allegedly attempting to smuggle a potentially dangerous chemical substance into Roumieh prison.
Police pressed charges
against 20 people for criminal association, espionage, breach of duty, blackmail and deceit.
According to Nada Bakkary, a spokesperson for AFTE, students pressed charges
against university vice president Hamdi Hassan, assistant vice president Ali Abu Bakr, and director of security Mamdouh Abdel Latif.
