A second goal is to measure the brightness over a wider range of solar

phase angles than what is reported here.

The absolute impedance (Z) and

phase angle ([theta]) can be calculated according to the impedance vector of the equivalent series circuit, Z = [R.sub.cn] + j[X.sub.cn].

The

phase angle of a product is the ratio of its magnetic signal and conductive signal --various metals have different amounts of each signal.

To investigate the influence of wave impact

phase angles, positions marked as 1, 2, 3, and 4 shown in Figure 7 are applied.

With familiar waveforms of the terminal voltage and the armature current, the

phase angle [phi] can be easily determined.

In this way, we separate all [S.sub.i] to 1 - k parts, which differ from each other with

phase angle 2[pi]/(1 - k).

In the high frequency region it is observed that the log [absolute value of Z] values tend to a constant (log [absolute value of Z] becomes independent of frequency) where the

phase angle approaches zero.

Experiments were conducted to study the effect of

phase angles on the decoupling bandwidth in [SW.sub.f]-TPPM sequences with 4, 5, 6, 7, and 11 TPPM elements.

Cox and Heintz (2009) measured

phase angles in food-deprived rainbow trout and brook trout on a weekly basis, and in food-deprived Chinook salmon intermittently for 13 weeks.

Over the following weeks more observations were reported to the Minor Planet Center (MPC), and it was possible to construct a phase curve for the object extending over a very wide range of

phase angles as shown in Figure 3.

The complex modulus and

phase angles of the 3 crumb rubber TLA blends and the unmodified TLA were studied using an oscillatory dynamic shear rheometer (ATS RheoSystems) operated within the linear domain under strain control.

Ground-based CCD observations by the author during the same years covered

phase angles closer to 90[degrees] degrees, when Mercury was near greatest elongation from the Sun and outside of the LASCO field of view.
