Behaviour: In general, species that were formerly placed in the genus Rivulus (now divided into Anablepsoides, Atlantirivulus, Cynodonichthys, Kryptolebias, Laimosemion, Melanorivulus and Rivulus by the classification as proposed by Costa, 2011), are non-schooling, solitary fish that are found in very small streams and swamps.
