The participants in the acupressure arm received self-managed acupressure at 4 auricular points. The 1st point is named Shenmen, which is located at the bifurcating point between superior and inferior antihelix crus.
In this study, we used the seeds of cowherb to stimulate the auricular points, instead of acupuncture needles, so the adverse events were rarely found.
