Differential diagnosis of solid pseudo-papillary tumor of pancreas includes pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, pancreatoblastoma, acinar cell carcinoma and pancreatic pseudocyst3,18.
Frequent expression has been documented in a number of neoplasms, such as hepatoblastoma, (117) undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma of the liver, (118) yolk sac tumor, (119, 120) choriocarcinoma, (121) pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma, (110, 121) Merkel cell carcinoma, (122) and lung squamous cell carcinoma.
In this pancreatitis modelconstructed using cerulein and glycodeoxycholic acid, elevated pancreatic enzymes, edema of pancreatic tissue, and acinar cell necrosis were observed.
In the normal state these enzymes are synthesized in pancreatic acinar cells as inactive pro-enzymes (such as trypsinogen) and are maintained in this state until activated by enterokinase upon entry into the gut lumen.
12) A mass must be classified as adenoma if it presents disrupted ductal/acinar architecture; diffuse or disorganized acinar and ductal proliferation; encapsulation or circumscribed margin.
However, in men who only had high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia at the beginning of the trial, there was a lower rate of progression to prostate cancer and development of atypical small acinar proliferation in the group taking green tea extract capsules.
This cocktail is particularly helpful in resolving atypical small acinar proliferations and reduces the percentage of ambiguous diagnosis and the need for additional biopsies.

Research into the molecular mechanisms of alcohol-related pancreatitis has largely focused on the pancreatic acinar cell, the component of the pancreas devoted to synthesis, storage, and secretion of digestive enzymes.
Our previous work showed that the expression of HMGB1, a late inflammatory factor, can be induced by trypsinogen activation peptide (an early pro-inflammatory cytokine) in rat pancreatic acinar cells and tissues [8,9], and the induction process may involve the Janus kinase 2 and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (JAK2/STAT3) signaling pathway in pancreatic acinar cells [10].
I will use this model to develop a cytokine-based treatment to convert human acinar cells to functional beta-like cells in a Neurogenin3 dependent way.
Differences in our results comparing with previous studies may be due to the differences in sources of synthesis and secretion of serum and salivary amylase, in which salivary amylase synthesis in salivary gland specifically in parotid gland [47] while serum amylase synthesis and secreted mainly in pancreatic acinar cells [48], also 80% of amylase that synthesized in pancreatic acinar cells stored in salivary gland [49].
These biochemical interactions eventually lead to acinar injury, interstitial edema, tissue compromise, and systemic presentations blamed for morbidity and mortality in AP [1, 4, 6, 7].
Adjacent and admixed to these areas there were also foci of lung adenocarcinoma with a predominant acinar growth pattern (Figure 5) expressing TTF-1 and CK7 (Figures 6(a) and 6(b)).
