Brush sanders use strips of abrasive and are backed by different types of brush media to force the
abrasive strips into corners and recessed profiles of the substrate.
The most popular and conservative means to slenderize enamel is by
abrasive strips. The disadvantage of using hand pulled
abrasive strips is that it is too laborious and time consuming.
However, one diamond-plate cover on 10th Avenue, outside the DAC, has
abrasive strips fastened to its surface to prevent slips.
The kit contains 40 tests, each consisting of
abrasive strips and a coring tool to get through layers of paint; leadfree collection swabs and adhesive collection papers; plastic vials and plastic rods to grind the sample; leaching solution; test cards; and positive-control test strips.
The biggest advantage of using brush sanders that are of the "Key Way and Strip" technology is that it allows the operator to change
abrasive strips sequentially rather than all at once.
