The most common type of generalized seizure to happen in this case is a tonic clonic seizure.
In this study the common seizures types were combination of generalized tonic clonic seizure with myoclonic seizures in 62.5 % of the total of 8 cases followed by simple partial motor seizures with myoclonic seizures in 37.5 % of the cases.
Here also forceful contractions of the axial musculature in a generalized tonic clonic seizure produce hyperflexion of spine leading to fractures, especially of the thoracic vertebra (6).
