Canna indica leaf extract (Indian shot), Whatman number 1 filter paper, distilled deionized water, silver nitrate (AgN[O.sub.3]), and nickel nitrate hexahydrate Ni[(N[O.sub.3]).sub.2]-6[H.sub.2]O, commercially obtained from Sigma-Aldrich Company, UK, were used as obtained.
