ISLAMABAD, December 01, 2011 (Frontier Star): Pakistan Railway (PR) has decided to dualise
railway tracks all over the country.
The fourth agreement was signed with a contracting firm to dualise
60-km long Mahda-Rowdah road with a value of OMR63 million.
Al Shukhaili also said that plans are afoot to dualise
the 40km-long Ibri-Yanql carriageway, in an apparent move to reduce accidents.
As many as 21 international and local groups have submitted bids for the 48-km-long stretch of the road project, which is part of a larger plan to dualise
MUSCAT: In a major initiative to dualise
the 750km-long Adam-Thumrait stretch of the Nizwa-Thumrait road, the government has floated tenders for inviting international consultancy firms to bid for the project.
