Giant intraluminal duodenal diverticulum: Conventional barium study
and computed tomography findings.
The barium study
produced no symptoms, but when the patient ate a muffin he developed nausea and abdominal pain, and it was observed fluoroscopically that there was a delay in propagation of food from the intrathoracic stomach distally to [the] small bowel.
A small bowel barium study
showed dilated small bowel loops and a few number of diverticules of the small bowel.
Small collections of barium from a previous upper GI barium study
were interspersed within the mass.
The secondary endpoints were postoperative suture line leak, postoperative hemorrhage, and evidence of gastric outlet obstruction by endoscopy and upper GI barium study
