Visibility Is Essential in a Multidisciplinary
Decision-Making Environment
The term "Information load" in accounting texts is defined as the presented (or used) volume of information in
decision-making.
When confronted with complex or unfamiliar clinical situations, novice nurses frequently respond by drawing on theoretical knowledge and psychomotor skills, rather than enacting
decision-making that addresses the complex and multidimensional nature of the situation.
As this suggests, many proponents of shared
decision-making seem to regard its meaning as self-evident.
In this article, the attempt was to forward these developments in decision theory by introducing the role that emotions have in intuitive
decision-making.
According to experts, career
decision-making for gifted students is unique in some ways (Emmett & Minor, 1993; Kelly, 1996; Perrone, 1997).
Current research in
decision-making has taken a departure from its purely rational roots (Dawes, 1988; Kahneman, Slovic & Tversky, 1982).
The risk management team will identify and monitor trends, build and maintain the overall risk profile and, more critically, ensure risk is factored into all
